Hi MrRyan…I just finished Noble Intention. I really enjoyed it!! I am a little confused as to what order I should be reading the Jack Noble books. I plan on reading all of the books…but I really do like to read them in order. Is it possible to find out what order you would suggest them in? Thanks a bunch!! Shannon

Reply
    L.T. Ryan - August 11, 2013

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I created a post to answer the reading order question – http://ltryan.com/recommended-reading-order-of-the-jack-noble-novels/ … When it comes to Noble Intentions, you’ll want to read them in order. The other two can be read at any time. I’m considering adding (Jack Noble #__) to the Noble Intentions books to make the order a little clearer. The first two Jack Noble novels – Noble Beginnings and A Deadly Distance – are prequels to the series.

I plan to have all the books take place in chronological order from this point on. The part that may cause confusion moving forward is that some of these books will be part of the Noble Intentions series (longer, multiple point of view characters), while others will be books strictly written from Jack’s point of view (or another characters, such as Clarissa or Bear, with no Jack in the story).

From a computer with the ebook file, attach the MOBI or ePub files to a new mail message and email them to a mail address that is setup on the iPad
Open the mail message from the iPad and tap and hold the attached mobi or epub file until an β€œOpen in Kindle” or β€œOpen in iBooks” dialog menu appears, then tap the appropriate choice

Just finished the first two books after finding on Amazon. Enjoyed both, but the second was the better story, looking forward to the next one. I have Noble Intentions Season One ready to go, should the Thin Line be read first??

If you want to follow the story chronologically, then you’d read Thin Line now. However, I write out of order, and wrote Thin Line long after Season One had been published.

Thought I’d just finished all Jack Noble but have just found ‘The Good Soldier’ and ‘Noble Intentions (5). Have tried two websites that claim to list all in reading order but they disagree. Wish there was a simple list of titles to satisfy at least one (very old) reader.

I don’t know what to add that hasn’t already been said. Therefore I will just say THANK YOU for the wonderful escape you give me through your well constructed stories. They accomplish exactly what they were designed to do…tell a story about fictional characters by drawing the reader into a world totally unknown to them by making them feel like they are there.
Keep up the awesome work so more and more people can be pulled into the world of Jack Noble. Or should I say L.T. Ryan?

I’ve read 5 JN books so far and love them all…next is When Dead in Greece. My only complaint is the chronological order. I know there’s the list provided but it seems you’ve changed the names of a few (formerly season….). Kinda confusing…perhaps a table that describes each books title, which Noble version it is, the former name (if applicable), when it was released, and anything else the clears up the confusion. Having said that the stories are great…any chance we will see Jack and his cohorts on the big screen someday?

Reply
    L.T. Ryan - November 16, 2016

Four of the books were titled Noble Intentions, with a Season tag on them (Season One, Season Two, etc), which many found confusing because they also had the chronological tag in the title (Jack Noble #4, Jack Noble #6, etc). Season Two – Four had their titles changed. The formerly season x was included only to help those who had already read the books and would have referred to them as seasons.

If you follow the title tag (Jack Noble #1 – Jack Noble #11), and the list on the site you’ll be fine.
