"This is the second book I have read by L.T. Ryan but certainly not my last! You can't help but love the main character, Jack Noble, even though he is a well-paid assasin, spy and thief. He is someone to have on your side when the going gets rough and rougher. He has super strength, is very strong-willed and quite stubborn. His stubborness gets him in a lot of trouble with his enemies and consequently he gets tortured quite a bit. He appears to be a hard-hearted, ruthless criminal/assasin. He is not the person he seems to be. He loves his friends, Bear, Clarissa and Mandy, a little girl he rescued. He takes the blame for some murders and took all the blame for his friend, Pierre, who is also an assasin. He is very compassionate and caring about the people he is close to."
